At Simkins and Son’s Renovations and Repairs, we proudly completed a recent project in Moorestown where we embarked on a Deck Renovation for a returning customer. Their vision was a fresh deck extending from the back of the house, with easy access to the kitchen. The task commenced with laying the footings and setting the posts, later moving on to the assembly of the framing and installation of the deck boards. For optimal accessibility, we constructed and installed two sets of stairs.
The customer’s choice fell on a cable railing system, facilitating a neat finish while maintaining a modern aesthetic. This was installed along with lattice work around the base of the deck. We further enhanced the deck’s utility by including an access door that leads to the home’s crawl space.
